Rich’s Stitches has a strong commitment to bring awareness to causes that are dear to our heart. This is why we would like to invite our customers and friends to attend the 28th Annual Women’s Memorial Golf Tournament. This is something that is bringing awareness to an issue that is prevalent to this day and affects thousands of women every year. The early diagnose of breast cancer is crucial to its treatment so it is important to continuously shed light on this on going issue.
We encourage all women to get a mammogram every year to treat and prevent breast cancer. There are places that offer this check up for free in the Richmond area. For more information about how you can get your free mammogram please visit this link

“The Women’s Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF) has a proud history as the first all-women’s charitable golf tournament in the Richmond area. There were ten teams in 1987 – its inaugural year. Growing each year, the event has sold out since 2000. The tournament provides an opportunity to honor breast cancer survivors, to remember those we lost much too early to this disease, and to support the important education and advocacy work of VBCF.”
